Daniel Callis of BEYLA on the Let Fintech Grow podcast
Most business tools see one part of a company. Accounting software sees the ledger. A CRM sees the pipeline. A bank sees the account. Each may become more intelligent, but it still works from a partial view.
BEYLA began with a different question: what if AI understood how the whole business works?
On Let Fintech Grow, Daniel explains the thinking behind BEYLA’s AI-native architecture:

That principle sits at the heart of BEYLA. The Hive is designed to become a living memory of the business, giving a Digital C-Suite of specialist Digital Humans across finance, operations, risk and more the same context.
Instead of waiting for the owner to search, prompt and piece everything together, BEYLA is built to anticipate risks, surface opportunities and prepare the next action for approval.
It does the work. The business owner makes the call.
In the conversation, Daniel and Ian explore:
The result is a wide-ranging conversation about what becomes possible when AI is not bolted onto a reactive system, but becomes the foundation for a new one.

Our promise
Intelligence that acts for you.
AI-native means a system designed around artificial intelligence from the ground up, rather than having AI features added onto older software. In finance, it’s the difference between a reactive tool that answers your questions and a proactive operating system that anticipates what matters and acts for you, with your approval.
Because they bolt AI onto systems built to be reactive – fragmented data, manual process, no live context. Intelligence without context produces confident guesses rather than useful judgement. The limitation is architectural, not a limitation of the AI itself.
The Hive is BEYLA’s living memory of your business. With your permission, it builds a shared, real-time understanding of how your business works, so every Digital Human gives guidance grounded in your specific context rather than generic AI knowledge.
A Digital Human is an AI specialist that works like an experienced member of your team. You can talk to them by voice, video or text, and they understand your business through the Hive. Unlike a chatbot that simply answers questions, Digital Humans proactively identify what matters, follow your instructions and adapt to how you work. You choose how they look, sound and communicate.
No. BEYLA does the thinking and prepares recommendations, but you make every decision. Every action is consent-based, explainable and auditable. Regulated services that move money are in private development ahead of licensing.
The AI Supercharged Sandbox is a Financial Conduct Authority programme, launched in June 2025 with NayaOne, AWS and NVIDIA, that lets UK financial services firms experiment with AI in a safe, supervised environment. Participants get access to accelerated computing power, high-quality datasets and expert support so they can test early-stage AI use cases without risking real customers or market integrity.
BEYLA has participated in two FCA Innovation initiatives. It joined the inaugural cohort of the FCA’s AI Supercharged Sandbox, using the supervised programme to test and develop its AI-enabled proposition. BEYLA also participated in the Smart Data Accelerator SME Finance TechSprint, where it demonstrated how earlier identification of financing needs could connect small and medium businesses with suitable providers.
