How BEYLA uses cookies and similar technologies

Version 1.2 · Effective 12 August 2026

We show a cookie banner on your first visit. Only strictly-necessary cookies are set before you make a choice; we give equal prominence to Accept and Reject, and you can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. The first section lists BEYLA cookies and explains when the user-initiated Dodo Payments checkout may use necessary payment, security and fraud-prevention technologies.

Cookies we currently set

The list below reflects what BEYLA sets on beyla.ai and its subpaths. A paid checkout opens a sandboxed, cross-origin Dodo Payments frame only after an organisation administrator chooses to subscribe and accepts the checkout disclosures. Storage controlled inside that frame is governed by Dodo Payments as described below. We update this section whenever we add or remove a tag; questions can be sent to privacy@beyla.ai.

Strictly necessary - always set, no consent required

  • beyla_cookie_consent - first-party; stores your cookie-banner choice (which categories you accepted) and the timestamp so we do not re-prompt. 12 months.
  • wos-* (Beyla auth session cookies) - first-party; only set once you sign in to the BEYLA application. Not set on the marketing site. Session-length to 30 days depending on configuration.
  • Dodo Payments checkout frame and payment SDK - third-party, loaded only when you actively start checkout; may use session, local-storage, payment-wallet, device, security and fraud-prevention technologies that are strictly necessary to complete and protect the transaction. Dodo controls technologies inside its cross-origin frame under its Privacy Policy at https://dodopayments.com/privacy-policy. Exact names and durations are subject to a browser/network audit before live launch.

Analytics - only set if you accept Analytics

  • hubspotutk - HubSpot; identifies a returning visitor to link them with their HubSpot contact record once they submit a form. 6 months.
  • __hstc - HubSpot; top-level tracking identifier, first/most-recent/current visit timestamps, and session counter. 6 months.
  • __hssc - HubSpot; current session counter. 30 minutes.
  • __hssrc - HubSpot; flag indicating the visitor has restarted their browser since their last visit. Session.

Embedded Dodo Payments checkout audit

Our source-code audit found that the installed Dodo checkout component does not itself read or write first-party cookies, local storage or session storage. It creates a sandboxed frame on Dodo’s checkout domain and loads Dodo payment and wallet services. Because a cross-origin provider can change its own payment, fraud and security technologies, BEYLA must repeat a browser storage and network audit in test mode and during the controlled live-purchase release check. We will update this policy before launch if that audit identifies any non-essential technology or additional provider detail.

Marketing

None at present. If we add a marketing or advertising tag in the future (for example a LinkedIn Insight Tag), it will be listed here first and the consent banner will surface a Marketing toggle so you can choose whether to allow it.

Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how BEYLA UK LTD (“BEYLA”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies (together, “cookies”) on beyla.ai and our related websites, applications and customer-facing services (the “Sites”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Your control. We only set strictly necessary cookies before you have made a choice. Non-essential cookies (including analytics, marketing and similar) are set only after you have given us a clear, affirmative choice through our cookie banner or preference centre. Continuing to browse the Sites does not count as consent. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time via the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of our Sites.

BEYLA UK LTD is a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, enable features, and measure how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as pixel tags, web beacons, local storage and SDKs - we refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy.

2. Types of cookies we use

We use the following categories of cookies:

Strictly necessary

Essential for the Site to work, for security, load-balancing, authentication and fraud prevention. These cannot be switched off and do not require consent.

Functional / preference

Remember your preferences (such as language, region or whether you’ve dismissed a banner) to personalise your experience.

Performance and analytics

Help us understand how visitors use our Sites, which pages are popular, and how features perform, so we can improve them. Where possible we use aggregated and de-identified data.

Marketing and advertising

Help us measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, tailor content and communicate with you on other platforms. These are only set with your consent.

3. Cookies we use

The specific cookies in use may change as we evolve the Service. Current, detailed cookie information (including names, providers, durations and purposes) is available via the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of our Site. The main categories of providers we work with include:

  • Analytics: providers that help us understand site and product usage.
  • Product and session tools: for session replay, error monitoring, feature flags and A/B testing to improve the Service.
  • Customer communication: live chat, in-product messaging and support tools.
  • Marketing: ad platforms, attribution tools and email tracking.
  • Security: fraud and abuse detection, bot prevention and security headers.

4. Your choices

4.1 When you first visit a BEYLA Site, we present a cookie banner that lets you “Accept all”, “Reject all non-essential”, or customise your choices by category. Accept and Reject are given equal prominence - you do not need to go deeper into the banner to reject non-essential cookies, and we do not use pre-ticked boxes.

4.2 Only strictly necessary cookies are set before you make a choice. Non-essential cookies are set only where you give your consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of our Sites. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it was withdrawn.

4.3 Most browsers also allow you to control cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may impact the functionality of our Sites. To learn more, visit aboutcookies.org.

4.4 For analytics and marketing cookies, you may also opt out via provider-specific tools (for example, Google Analytics browser opt-out).

5. Cookies and personal data

Some cookies process personal data (for example, IP address and device identifiers). Where this is the case, our Privacy Policy explains how we handle that data, including lawful bases, international transfers and your rights.

6. Do Not Track

Our Sites do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals because there is no agreed industry standard. We instead offer granular cookie controls as described above.

7. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on our Sites with its effective date.
